Our Yurts

We have two authentic Mongolian yurts, Bayan and Temur, and a locally made log cabin for our glamping holidays. Each yurt measures 19 feet in diameter providing ample room for 4 to 6 people to sleep in comfort. A double bed and double futons and fold out chair beds – ideal for children – are provided plus full bedding. A cot is available on request. Each yurt is tastefully equipped and you will find everything you need for your stay including a wood burner for warmth and boiling a kettle, pots and pans, crockery, lanterns, cool-boxes with ice packs, wo od and kindling, BBQ and a welcome pack to get you started.

We are an environmentally friendly farm of 100 hectares (240 acres) and our yurts are part of our desire for a greener lifestyle. The camp site is equipped with compost toilets (not that scary!), wood burning stoves and fire pits. Ideal for those who care about the planet but don’t want to sacrifice their comfort. A hot shower, flush toilet and a modern kitchen are available in the club house for those who can’t do without. The club house also has a washing machine and electric points for the use of guests.

The Lalapoon is situated overlooking the lake and offers a unique dining experience. Here you will find a fully working outdoor kitchen with gas cooker and hot water or if you prefer use the BBQ to prepare your feast, then take time to relax and enjoy on the Lake Pontoon whilst watching the fish meandering and the moon rising

For a little extra we will cook your breakfasts for you. Rustic seating and tables are dotted in niches around the lake providing a wonderful environment for quiet reflection or taking an afternoon nap.

Both of our yurts come fully equipped with everything you need to make your stay warm, comfortable and stress free including full size beds with cosy bedding and a wood-burner lit for your arrival. We aim to make your holiday harmonious and full of happy memories, so come and spend some quality time with family, friends and nature.
